We often hear of Houston’s good economy but downtown has
been plagued with catering mostly to the office market. That is beginning to
change, as Downtown Houston undergoes a residential skyscraper boom. Downtown's
residential skyscraper boom is one of the most exciting developments currently
unraveling in Houston real estate. Since 2013, Downtown Houston has been
experiencing a residential construction boom and surprisingly that trend is
still continuing today. There are currently nine residential skyscrapers under
construction in Houston and nine more planned.
Downtown is my favorite neighborhood and seeing its residential
market boom is very exciting. If current trends continue it will be one of the
greatest neighborhoods in the country.
I had no idea 9 were under construction and 9 more are planned. Houston is booming!!!
