Today in 1968, Alley Theatre Opens
Today in 1968, the Alley Theatre opened on Texas Ave. The great piece of architecture was one of the first projects that would eventually lead to the Downtown Houston Theater District. The building was a Tony Award Winner and today it is one of the three oldest resident theatres in the United States. It is a great example of architecture and we are happy to be celebrating its anniversary.
